>>37292209The only case I have had to use this for was for things that involved opinion to start with. My involvement with this franchise was the major point of contention, along with something else in another fandom. The conclusion I came to is that I came to despise anyone putting a label on ANY franchise. I suppose that we can have what we all think it is, but it cannot be asserted to be true for everyone. I suppose I was preoccupied with having a valid reason rather than just having a reason.
I do not support LGPE any more than a lot of people here do. I don't even understand what it's motives are, since people will be just as lost as they would've been if it didn't exist.
I do not support what the fandom thinks a Pokemon game should be, either, or at least what a lot of fangame makers insist on doing. I want better teams, but I don't want to be required to know competitive strategy to play, nor to have to spend hours grinding just to progress. I know RPGs can be made to where grinding is not that necessary, so don't give me that.
This is why I insist on a form of compromise. We won't be able to conform to the Go mongers, I know that is not possible. That isn't what I'm asking. I only ask for consideration that not everyone is a competitive monger, nor a nuzlocke monger, nor a grind monger. I just want to play the game at my own pace.
If we cannot agree, then we will just have to not agree.
