Forgot to add that Nintendo only gets a fraction of the amount from Pokemon GO (TPC/Niantic get the most)
Nintendo is estimated to get 10-20% of the revenue from it.

The main reason for this is how the money is divided. Mobile games do give a lot of revenue, but Nintendo has so many more things that give them a higher share of the profit.
Mobile games exist to renew interest and give funding to the second/third party developers.

Pocket Camp is weird because it's built like a game to milk "whales", but if you play it with enough friends, you can bypass the "whale hunting" bullshit very easily. So I really wonder how profitable it actually is.
