Then in gen 3 they started giving it to anything vaguely dragon
Then in gen 7 they went fucking insane and started giving it to everything
Turtle ? Youre a dragon ! Pineapple tree ? Youre a dragon ? Bee digimon ? FUCK IT EVERYTHING IS A DRAGON

I hate gen 3 and 7 so godamn much...

There are literal Eastern/Western dragons, draconian creatures, dragon-like creatures, dragon/something else fusions, and very few Pokemon that are dragon puns or whatever. Unless you're looking for a ton of Dragonite clones, I don't see a problem here.

No, having a 600 BST, 134 ATK, and immunity to ground meant something

Dragonite would have been better as a pure flying type, no joke. Most flying types would, that's why it took until Gen V for us to see a single mono flying.

Jynx Mr.mime, Starmie, and Exeggutor were unobtainable in the wild and nothing resisted Psychic. Mewtwo and Mew were the strongest pokemon that ever existed. Sounds rare and mythical to me.

I don't know if this is a real classification, but it's how I always thought of them as a kid, based on availability early in the game versus late game and in competitive. Ash, for example, never had a Psychic or Ghost type for years because they were OP in the anime, and he didn't get a fully evolved Dragon until Gen VI.

It’s fine when it’s an unassuming pokemon that evolves a Dragon type. It’s like Dragon types have just been under our noses, but we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t evolve the seahorses/antlion/sheep/etc.
