gen 6 is by far pokemons worst. Gen 7 was better but not by much. gen 6 has barely any good pokemon whatsoever and when you barely have any to begin with thats a really bad sign. megas are the only good thing in that game. fuck 3d pokemon

gen 7 is 10 hours of unskippable cutscenes, built in walkthrough that you can't turn off and there a map on bottom screen always pointing where you have to go.

The tutorial is annoying, but XY is the most boring and forgettable gen to ever exist. there isnt a single memorable moment except the end cutscene and not a single good character. and with the worst pokemon in the series 6 is without a dought the worst.

B/W came out when i was a freshmen and at the time all the philosophical stuff went over my head. i didn't understand. looking back i realized they based the legendaries and evil team off of a philosophical concept and its really cool and helps the game resonate with older fans. B/W felt more mature overall and plasma is a big part of that.
