They sucked compared to the excellence that is Platinum and HG/SS but they're good.

If you can pick Challenge mode from the very beginning and add following Pokemon it'd be considered the greatest Pokemon game of all time.

Having replayed both, B/W is a better experience overall. I don't care all too much about postgame and really enjoyed the originals' story and characterization focus a lot more.

Gen 5 introduced ugly Pokemon. Samurott was lame, Sigilyph was lame, Unfezant is so lame and has a stupid name, Woobat is ugly but I get its design, so many of the literal who grass types were just that, Basculin is one of the most boring fish I've ever seen, Alomomola is way too long of a name, Druddigon is one of the worst Pokemon I've ever seen.

That being said, Blitzle and the Litwick and Gothita lines were cool.
