Gaia is very solid, has everything through gen 6 including fairies, and lots of little touches and bits of polish that make it feel like a proper part of the series.

There's Pokemon Crystal Clear, which I think is a crystal open-world ROM hack. Also RMXP game Pokemon Godra Remastered, not all jobs are fully complete though
