Fuck off, nobody of us gave a shit about most of these Pokémon before their cross gen evolutions. We got incredible concepts executed in awesome, cute or even funny designs.

If you think forgetable Pokémon like Yanma and Nosepass were ruined by a prehistoric dragonfly or a Gradius's Final Boss you are just boring people.

When you've seen the reasons to hate Gen 4 in previous threads you don't need to read the whole explanation. People who hate cross gen evolutions are mostly a "my non-favorite Pokémon was ruined by a Pokémon that I have not taken the trouble to know about"

Actually Lickilicky is the only one I don't like just because it hasn't any remarkable charm, it's just Snorlax fused with Lickitung. The rest are 8/10 or above to me.

Gen 5 because I don't know why Conkeldurr, Ferrothorn, Garbodor, and etc need to exist. But simultaneously, Gen 5 gave us Volcarona, Haxorus, Whimsicott, Braviary, Carracosta and more so I guess it evens out. Special mentions to Gen 4 and 6 though, because Rhyperior and Incineroar are probably the two Pokemon I'd delete if GF gave me the option.

3, 7, and 1 have great designs all around. 5 has some of the absolute best designs, but also many of the absolute worst. 4 is similar, but its highs aren't as good as 5's. 2 is forgettable. Gen 6 has Aegislash and a couple of other decent ones, the rest are trash. Looking at you, Aromatisse.
