>>38178019>>38178305> Great Gym LeadersI disagree, none of the gym leaders were that interesting, the only stand outs where Korrina & Wulfric the rest were very one-note, they were definitely a noticeable step down from Gens 3-5, even some of the Gen 2 Gym Leaders did it better. That being said Gen 7 didn't improve on that and was arguably worse with of the 7 Trial Captains only Kiawe have more than a one-dimensional personality, which is pretty sad honestly given that Acerola had real potential with that whole, last of a royal line thing.

> Memorable RegionMemorable in how bad it was, Kalos and Alola feel like amusement parks more than regions, every stereotypical environment is there and accounted for but there's very little consideration for how they flow from one to the other, this is especially so for Alola when you compare it to the similar Hoenn Region and see how the two regions handled their Volcanic, Arid, Forest, Jungle & Icy environments.

Trevor is very boring and dry for a character, they should've made him more cynical or elitist , Shauna is definitely better than Hau given that she has that nativity and weakness about her character that sort of develops over the game (although the issue with her character development is more so due to XY's awful pacing), and Serena/Calem honestly didn't need to be there, I don't get why character swapped rivals were done again, they didn't really work in Hoenn plus less time on Serena/Calem and more time on the other three would've helped there characters.
