Jailbreak it and play any game you want. But to answer your question, Gen 3 is shit, Gen 4 is great, but Gen 5 is the best of the three. Buy both BW and B2W2 for an enhanced experience

You missed the time when legitimate copies were easy to get; buy a DS flashcart. Every gen 3, 4, and 5 game is good.

You will need to do any migration from gen 3 to 4 on a PC, even if you buy a GBA flashcart. If you decide to migrate from 5 to 6 without cheating, you need to buy one legit gen 5 game.
