The let's plays and "nuzlocks" aren't even watchable.
It's like watching a nuzlock where they use rare candy cheats and ignores the one Pokémon per route rule.
I always thought of hand holding as a waste of time, but a good source of information for newcomers. This hand holding actually made all of my non Pokémon playing friends give up at the first gym. Not because the couldn't beat it, but because they couldn't enter it. The general consensus was they just wanted to use the Pokémon they got, but the game is so hand holdy it feels like it's on a predetermined track. Like they can't play the game the way they want to.
What the fuck were they thinking!? I was mad when they only had first generation Pokémon, but atleast it could have been nostalgic. Instead they add in that gym prerequisite bullshit and got rid of wild Pokémon battles, you know, 80% of the bonding time you get with your Pokémon.
3 of my 4 mates sold it in the first week.
I only have it because I have a collecting disorder.
I know it's over stated but, Baddy Bad, really?
