What's even the point of making bad pokemon? I'm not saying everything needs to have a 500+ bst, I just don't understand why some pokemon are pointlessly mediocre. Why do so many pokemon have high attack and no physical movepool or vice versa? Why do so many fully evolved pokemon have abysmally small bsts? What the fuck is wrong with Gamefreak?

I think they didn’t want to push speed power creep any more than it already has been, which is why most of the Alola dex is fairly slow

I'm legitimately curious if 50% is enough of a drop? What kind of pokemon could a modest 252 speed vikavolt outspeed after a paralysis?

I want to use discharge or even zap cannon to fish for paralysis, then kill them with other moves.
