Eventually, she realizes that she can be a process/queen and still be happy with her friends, probably because the MC taught her about bonding with pokemon.
Her mother/father won't be batshit crazy like lusamine, though, because that could be seen as an insult to the irl royal family. They'll be super okay people who will fight against the evil team.
The evil team will be either an environmentalst, borderline religious cult that wants to impose the ways of nature and the old pokegods over galar's growing industry, or the opposite: the owners on factories and shit that are destroying the environment.
There may be a second, smaller evil team, made up of abolitionists that want to see the crown fall.
The big reveal will be that the evil team's leader will be the king's/queen's brother, who really just wants the throne for himself.
