>>38474551You are absolutely correct. XY fell off from the pinnacle of pokemon that was gen 5, but, it still was a solid game but the warning signs were all there, the handholding, too many NPCS, weak postgame and gen 7 really just went all in on the worst aspects of gen 6.
Galar and gen 4 remakes are going to really shine a light on what GameFreak wants to do with pokemon, and quite frankly, if it's to continue the aspects that gen 7 championed, I'm just gonna drop the series.
