>>38846287Yes! I hope Game Freak makes sort of smaller scale side games with sprites etc... That would be the dream, but no way they are recreating 2 Gens worth of Pokemon into sprites for a small game when they can print money by copy pasting the same models over and over again. I would like the 3D models more if they at least posed them, like how Pokemon Showdown did with certain mons like Gardevoir and Typhlosion.
I actually really really want Game Freak to do this now that I have thought about it. Someone with a large role/following in the Pokemon community needs to gauge the feelings about this. I guess it would depend upon age, since younger kids are probably used to playing in 3D and so would despise sprite, apart from a few unique younger kids. Maybe do a petition? I'm not sure. ROM hacks just aren't the same to me.
