In retrospective, Pokemon Battle Revolution looks great by today's GF standards. The stadiums were great, specially the sunset and waterfall stadium

I think a Battle Revolution 2 is pretty likely actually, once they get Home up and running. It might be the only way to battle with every Pokemon available

Colosseum was my first gamecube game and the first home console I owned ever.

This is literally the sole reason why I prefer VGC to Smogon. Playing singles in every game since then still feels weird to this day.

I always loved them.
Double Battles all the time meant more to think about on a turn, and the Shadow Pokemon mechanic was great in terms of making catches feel very satisfying.

The AI would also occasionally use real strategy like Protect/Earthquake.

that being said, i still think they're really fucking boring since the whole game consists of double battles that take years to finish due to the flashy, drawn out animations.

Even if these game didn't sell much and were made as a sort of dlc, they had more soul than every game post gen 5.
