ORAS postgame was absolute dog shot compared to the original.
I know I’ll sound like a nostalgia loser here but the true most Kino moment in any of the games was seeing red on that mountain for the first time.
I’m not sure anything truly compares to that though I’m willing to hear other suggestions.
There’s nothing kino about having mega rayquaza handed to you and then fighting another legendary seconds later.

I will concede that HGSS did the visuals way fucking better

Seeing Red for the first time in Gen 2 was the best moment that will never be repeated. GameFreak tries wayyy to hard to recreate the feeling by rehashing Red and Blue and Gen 1 as a whole, but it distorts the feeling.
