It's still not exactly a speed demon and taking up a dynamax slot, + it means you actually need to attack first and then live another turn after. If it gets some busted gigantmax form it'll be good obviously.

It’s kinda funny, growing up, Charizard was always a meme to me because everyone jacks off over him, if they picked him as a starter, but I was a compfag during gen 4, and he sucked fucking ass. So when he got his mega in gen 6 (the second gen I played comp, I skipped 5) everyone jacked off over him again because now he actually was pretty good.

So it’ll be funny to see all the new kiddos who missed out on Charizard being the laughing stock of starters, have to see him like this.

I don't necessarily disagree with you but I find it hard to imagine Charizard being the dynamax Pokemon of choice for a lot of teams if it's legal in competitive. What if fucking battle bond Greninja comes back for example.

Charizard is not the only Pokemon who gonna get it if the leaks are true anyway.
Also, since Pikachu and Meowth will have Gigantomax, it might be a stupid meme-tier form and nothing much.
Of course, they are not gonna make a fucking Meowth stronger than 3/4 of the dex.
