>>39057390I only use new Pokémon on my first play through too. But then I like to trade up older bros and play through again with them. Also I spent a summer building a living Dex and transferring them up to get the reward for completing the National Dex was always fun.
Not to mention there were always incentives to show NPCs Pokémon that weren’t native to the region for cool items. And the fact that these games were initially advertised as ones for the long term fans, ya’know, who probably have played older games and want their bros to live on the Switch now. Kinda fucked up of you to pretend like nobody wants to do any of this :/
