Level 5 could and HAVE done better. Let’s not even get into the incredibly blink and you missed it story mode. Yokai Watch 3 was the worst one imo but now 4 will probably take that title.

Pokemon also had a huge fall off after their first few games.
YW certainly hurt themselves by attempting to churn out games without growing the fanbase first.
Still hope for it though, if it can continue to create quality games it should be able to grow it's user base.
It's never going to do as well as pokemon, but it can fill a niche until the beast is slain.

last I checked, Pokemon loses 1-5 million sales with each new gen/game...Joe needs to learn that sales /= good or bad game, people buy for label or franchise, yo-kai isn't popular even though they're pretty decent games to play.

No other location has that many spawns.

digimon's? they're... ok. Pretty heavily grindy. If you can, the ps4 story games are upgrades of their gameplay in almost every way. In fact, only downgrade I'd say is that the ds games have a much bigger roster
