To go deeper into this:
The animations in this bootleg are amazing, but they're specifically made for the Pokemon; they're not universally applicable unlike the move animations GameFreak made.
>GameFreak is a multibillion company, they should make more personalized move animations. They could do that, but it'll take a long time. They need to have a special animation for every move that one Pokemon can learn. Let's say the average Pokemon has a move pool of about 50 to 60 moves, let's take 55 for this.
That means that on average, for every Pokemon there has to be 55 unique attack animations. There are officially about 824 Pokemon as of now I believe.
Giving each of these Pokemon a special animation for each of their moves will amount to 45,320 unique attack animations.
More if we count special animations for Pokemon with different forms.
Now, this can be achieved through means of hard work and dedication, but they'd need much more manpower to be able to come up with the choreography, make the basic idea for the animations and then actually make the animations as well as fine-tuning each of the 45,320(+/-) animations to make sure they're all of good quality.
So from both a financial-, resource- and time-efficient standpoint, I can understand why GameFreak is a bit lazy with their move animations in this way.
I agree that we could get more different attacking animations or idle animations, but as they are now I don't see anything to complain about.
