Well, Digimon World DS is basically dawn/dusk except older. Rumble Arena 2 is on Gamecube, was a decent party brawler. There are some others but I haven't personally played them so can't comment on them.

And the new Tamagotchi has a mobile app component, where you can get exclusive items and marry other people's Tamas with yours. Also they give out some exclusive marriage partners. The new thing for Tamas is genetic mixing, so you marry two of them and get your own new unique one.

Try going into them with an open mind. Digimon was the polar opposite of Pokemon, it always tried a bunch of different crazy stuff rather than sticking to a winning formula. They don't always hit all the right notes, but once you get used to their somewhat odd mechanics they're a blast.

Not that anon but Championship comes with a big flaw. For some reasons the devs thought it was a good idea to lock the controls away until you've done everything in the game. All you have to do is put this code in to enjoy it properly

They're extremely similar. With Cyber Sluts especially, if you like one you'll probably like the other.

The major difference is that SMT focuses on fusing monsters to get new ones while Digimon has complex evolution trees.

I'm going to get it on the Switch.
It looks very interesting, deep turn based and progression mechanics with a hard mode included makes my dick hard.
Although the environments look like repetitive garbage from what I've seen. A digital world has endless potential and yet it's all glitchy blue corridors the entire game apparently. Maybe budget issues.

Except Digital world is still born because of human and Digital Network so it is nonsensical for Digital World to be older than human world since it was born because human's progression with digital technology.
At the end, I think Wisemon ether talking about the Dimensional plane where Digital world exist in the anime or he was just wrong and assumed it to make his theory work like many theoretical physicist.
