Gen 7 is the moment they started the culling by only using the regional dex. Gen 6 actually gives you the "catch them all" aspect.

It's not about the dex entries, it's essentially the last time where "catch them all" is actually validated. Gen 7 already started cuts by cutting the national dex so you're limited to the regional dex.

Nothing to apologize for.
They barely qualify as DLC.
>Ruins Lusamine's arc
>Ultra DO NOTHING Squad and Hallwayopolis
>No real improvement to postgame beyond one very brief villain episode
>Mantine Surf/Wormhole flight get boring really quickly
The only interesting thing was the Ultra Necc bits, but that gets breezed by so quickly too. Sword and Shield culling pokemon sucks, but just because a future game is shit doesnt mean I'll ignore a past game's faults for it.
