>Gen 5 was the peak of Pokémon franchise.

I think it’s fairer to say both Gen 4 and 5 were the peak. Gen 5 improved in several areas over Gen 4 but it’s also where content started being removed to rush the games out.

BW2 bro, plus BW feel like that because there wasn't a third version that made them obsolete like Emerald and Platinum and that's for the best.

I think it's widely regarded that the tail end of Gen III, Gen IV and V are the best era of the franchise.
>Emerald
>Platinum, HGSS
>B2W2... and to an extent, BW.
>Mystery Dungeon series
>Ranger series
>PBR
>Minimal to no gimmick
Even though Mega Lucario is my favorite Pokemon ever, I'd give it up if we can get another B2W2-quality game again.
