Why do so many pokemon children get drawn they way they are drawn? Take both game Mays for example, original, she seems much more developed in terms of young females anatomy, nothing too insane, but definitely on the more developed side, add to that, a rather massive thigh gap, which only forms like that if you get pounded daily, not even joking. In the remake, she became much lankier and less thick, but retained a thigh gap for some reason, despite no longer having identical proportions to the original depiction, she's much taller it seems thus still part of development in all children, plus again
thigh gap
There's alot of characters like that from before, and only recently have they kinda
using it loosely fixed that but even marnie, has a massive thigh gap for some reason.
for the less developed younger chars, i think that just them being avatars for the player makes people think "the age is not concrete"In short, they're doing it on purpose
