Addiction is a mental illness to put it bluntly. Some people are predisposed to the risk genetically, and it is a worldwide problem. What makes it scary is how it can manifest itself into literally anything. Drugs, gaming, gambling, Internet, social media, food, exercise, work, etc.

Too bad our society is too focused on the fixation and trying to remove it, and not actually addressing the mental illness component that the person has. Until you get the person to handle the mental aspect, no amount of trying to prevent opioids entering the country will work.

I would only buy Sword if all of my nuzlocke teams can go through (89 Pokemon total). An okay amount are already going to be able to (Flygon, Sigilyph, Arcanine, Absol, possibly regular Linoone). The only ones probably not guaranteed are other regional starters, but I'd almost be willing to give on that if the majority of my teams can go to Galar. Same with my competitives and shinies.

I'd wait though and buy the game used however. I'm in no rush, especially because we haven't gotten anything about Home STILL. Why GF haven't said anything more about that after all this shit with Dexit comes across as tone-deaf and disrespectful to their consumers.

I'm probably going to hold out as long as possible til they announce the death of Bank or third versions. We'll see about the latter though, because 2021 is the 25th anniversary, and we know for a fact GF are gonna do something to celebrate it. It could be another Gen 6 debacle where we go straight to Gen 9.

That's why Konami laid off Kojima: his games were too expensive and took several years to develop, for minimal profit. Why invest so much money and time to profit so little, when Dragon Collection, a shitty social network game with minimal budget, earns them 1 MILLION dollars PER DAY?
