It's not inanimate hate. It's that every fucking member of the species has somehow developed 2 heads with one of them having a fucking straw coming out of it. How the fuck does that happen? It's fucking dumb and that shit was dumb in gen 1 too (Magneton, Dugtrio, etc).
I would have 0 issues with Vanilluxe, Garbodor, or Golurk if each one had slight differences (sort of like Spinda spot random patterns). In fact I think Golurk would be one of my top 5 favorites if they all looked slightly different.

Depends how you look at it. The anime hasn't been bad, the second reboot movie was good, the Adventures manga is okay, I really liked the Horizon Sun/Moon manga, the TCG is in a pretty decent place, there's nice merchandise, etc.

I agree the Pokemon games are in a shitty place at the moment, both mainline and spinoff. But there's more to the franchise than that.
