>>40074865>and receive another region or game modes trough DLCFew companies do it right so it's just as well to consider all DLC cancer, not an ideal of any kind.
When you buy a physical copy of a game you should own it all. It's one thing to do patches for bugs (nothing is perfect - those will happen no matter how hard you try to not make it so), but content should never be part of it.
There is no reason, for example, that Master Mode shouldn't have been present in BotW by default. Especially after such a long dev time. I can understand they wanted something for the Switch launch but it really should've been delayed if something that's been in since the beginning wasn't going to be ready at launch.
Same goes for shit like Smash. The fighters are a grayer area to me but all the modes should've been in at launch or delayed to make it so.
I will say, in general, that Nintendo is one of the ones who does do DLC right - you know, actually putting in more work to deserve more money rather than releasing incomplete trash (often intentionally, as in removed from the actual final product to sell separately) but that'\s not most companies or, as I've already pointed out, even always Nintendo.
You wouldn't accept this shit in literally any other industry so you shouldn't here either. You wouldn't go to Ikea and walk away with a chair seat and a roadmap to the legs, happy. Nor would you make excuse that this company who makes money hand over fist needs to take in your fund to be able to give you a complete ppoduct (which retards use to defend shit like the Switch Online, as if a company worth WAY fucking more than Steam who has free game servers needs to take in money before they can make their unnecessarily paid service worth purchasing).
Don't even begin to tell me you would. Same should apply here.
