How about instead of picking a single character to give everything to, they distribute stuff equally? Sure, it'd have to be other fan favorites, I'm not gonna pretend I don't know how marketing or popularity works and that Lumineon generates as much hype as an actual popular mon, but giving EVERYTHING to the same Pokemon all the time is just idiotic.

I tend to doubt that's true nowadays. The growing problem is that consumers have reached such a state that nobody cares if it's even a good product. They will buy it simply because it is a new product.
