Did a map way back when we first got the region revealed and heard about the Wild Areas, this is what I was hoping for, what we got is barely even half of this.

Actually, i feels good that pokemon is dying. Is wonderful to see retarded apologists domesticated cucks shill this game saying that the only problem was the dexcut and as expected it turns out everything else is shit starting with the region itself that is essentially 3 macroroutes and the wild area, finishing with the shitty new design hated the most. To be fair, each one of those red lines won't just be a straight line and each city has more going on than that. The routes are likely still decent.

However, from the close up maps we have seen these areas are still pretty simple. With most towns being a line or small circle. And while the routes may be fine, we traded about 10 routes for the wild area which does not seem very big.

My default is at the start of a generation they'll actually fix the post-game hence why I was as optimistic as I was, I've gotten used to them fucking up hard on it so my expectations about the north being fucking nothing were pretty minimal compared to other parts of the region (especially the Wild Area).

Sure it might end up being linear but it's obvious the ingame map is extremely simplified

Reminds me of arguing about Dark Souls 3 map, if you only look at the world map it's a straight line, but a lot of the levels have some depth and verticality with multiple paths
