Being able to pivot into ANY non-Fire/Rock/Flying/Ghost/Dark and non-mold breaker moves without fear of dying to Hazards is HUGE.
It means every set up sweepers has to run coverage just for Shedinja if they don’t want to be stopped.
It means so many that any Pokemon weak to the things Shedinja is immune to can reliably switch into it.
It means the Auto Win conditions by simply being immune to everything is much easier.
It means pretty much any defensive Pokemon that resists or is neutral to Fire/Rock/Flying/Ghost/Dark can form an easy core with Shedinja.
It means nearly every choice band/specs Pokemon has to make a hard reads and have coverage for Shedinja.
It means it’s much easier to get a burn on a Pokemon with how much it can force switches.
Yeah, Tyranitar will be everywhere, but it’s still definitely worth running for how much it can stop the rest of the Metagame and forces sweepers to run certain moves, especially on Rain/Sun teams.
