Because the effort used in a recreation is significantly less than an original

All a recreator needs to do is listen to the original with unbiased ears, think of the fixes they need to make, and then apply those fixes. Its monumentally easier than composing the song from scratch.

Sounds like the recreation uses better samples than the real game.
