>>41300656Alright shitposter-kun, let's do this:
This took one guy 1 hour for free. Seems like this process of importing and just adding Pokémon data can easily be automated, but for your sake let's leave it at one hour because of shader fixing and such.
Add another hour for movesets (again this probably can be vastly automated, but they change shit up every gen, e.g. shell smash Squirtle this gen).
That's about two hours for each LGPE Mon, plus writing the automation tools (takes someone skilled probably about two or three working days, i.e. 24 hours). Let's add another hour for 3DS models (3 in total) because why not.
Too lazy to look it up, but I think 50 Gen 1 mods have been cut. Thus:
2 X 50 + 3 X 350 + 24 = 1224 hours
About 8 months of work for a single person doing this as their job, i.e. less than one additional annual hire on average.
But let's say this takes three people instead. The necessary investment would have been in a low six-figure range.
That's a fucking joke considering the scope of the Pokémon franchise and inexcusable from a business and marketing point of view.
