The first two years of /vp/ were cringe as fuck with people spamming pictures of Aerodatcyl getting tied up and tickled, also the owls are bird meme, but that might've stemmed from /v/ pokemon threads. The reason this board was created was naturally because of spam, but it's early years were very fucking slow. If I recall correctly there was also this shitposter who tried to push his Biance/Belle fart fetish thing because her ass was big. Moderation was very fuckin slow on this board so you could post porn pretty easily, I remember seeing a lot of faithful tepig threads. As for /v/ I remember lots of genwunner attitude, and the general feel that pokemon threads took up half of the boards, not unlike how Smash or anything Nintendo does really. The only good /v/ pokemon moment was Red being revealed during japan time.
