That being said, I still believe SwSh could've been better considering what they did for the camp and Amie, the larger team and budget they have, and the dexcut and movecut on top of that. They even made walking and running animations for every Pokemon in Gen VII.
Of course, Game Freak and TPCI only want to be adequate instead of great because they know their games will sell regardless. What financial motivation do they have to put more effort and value into their games? Just do shit like
