I captured my zacian in a dive ball because the same color as the doggo. Do you capture important Pokemon in special balls /vp/?

caught my zamazenta in the beast ball, purely for the showboating/bragging rights. took 6 hours, with a few breaks and accidental fainting via crits. the winning run was when it wasnt even status'd, lol

I used to do premier balls, but since during this gen I kept the starter, got the gift topex in a luxury ball, I didn't bother. Pokeballs are nice but kinda boring though, and it doesn't look cool when you send out your mon

I try to catch all of my favorite Pokemon, and shiny Pokemon, in the Luxury Ball. Currently the exceptions have been Mewtwo (Master Ball) and the Ultra Beasts (Beast Ball, I tried Luxury but it cost me a shiny Stakataka and I decided not to fuck around the next time).
Also, I have a personal thing where I won't hunt a shiny Pokemon if I can't have it in the Pokeball of my choice. I guess it's kind of silly, but being able to have that choice is important to me.

I used the Quick Ball a lot this gen mainly for the Wild Area Pokemon but really because the catch rated for a lot of these are fucking insane.

Zacian broke out so many times I had to just drop the Master Ball on it
