Well at least they confirm that Kalos is just next ti Galar as this implies challengers who swam through the English Channel ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Channel ) in the real world.

Too bad they never did anything with it...

The funny thing is that they could easily make a double region enhanced game since Galar is such a small region if you exclude the wild area (which is fully optional anyway) but...its GF. Allthough its nice to know these two regions really are close and the theories were correct for once

Its safe to say that the region at war with Kalos in the past was indeed Galar but i doubt they will ever do anything with it

By your logic BW could've had a trip to Sinnoh since "both games used tilesets, thus it would be easy to create a Sinnoh out of reused assets."

No thats not it. Kalos is just next to Galar and Galar is rather small so it would make sense to connect these region since their real life counterparts are indeed connected. Galar being small region would help to make it doable. Just like Johto was smaller than most regions because they included Kanto post game

It’s on the fucking switch they could redeem themselves with sword and shield by making Xsword Yshield as sequels to both X Y and SwSh

That would be too good though. GF couldnt even handle all Pokemon. Plus some of the gyms would have duplicate types: grass, fairy. Unless Kalos would switch some of the leaders and replaced them with new characters (like older Tierno, Shauna, Trevor and Emma)
