Brother let me tell you this i played the 3ds games because i had this delusion they were gonna get better even though i knew they werent fully satifying me and i kept going in a cycle constantly telling myself that my dissapointment with each game was nothing and that they would do better but when ultra sun and moon got datamined and we found out that most of the things that were in trailers were the only new things and there wasnt much added i told myself to quit pokemon because i knew i was tired and just far too dissapointed with the series to keep going i quit because i needed to and a full price rehash of sun and moon is where i needed to stop so i did told myself dont buy a game until i see stuff that satisfies me so much i dont care too much for its flaws so i skipped lets go and im skipping gen 8 cause i know the main games wont satisfy me because i was dissapointed from the first trailer it didnt look like enough of a step up to me it looked okay like it would be good for others but not me and i was right and i know for sure 2020's diamond and pearl remakes wont be good so i decided to just skip gen 8 ill play it used in a couple years when im in a pokemon kick and want to play the games i skipped i dont want to keep going in a cycle doing the same shit thats why im mad

Let me sum it up im tired of the yearly cycle of mediocore games its dissapoining and draining i dont like it because i hated having to convince myself i liked what i played more than i really did and ive been this way since usum let me down im skiping until i find a pokemon game that makes me so happy i dont care about its flaws as long as their minor enough to ignore and the game adds enough to justify a purchase and out weigh the negatives im cool because sw/sh dissapointed me from the first trailer because it just looked like the same shit and i got tired of the same rushed out games i want more cause i had something before that made me want to buy the game despite its flaws and shortcomings i dont have that now so im not playing the games

Simple as i dont like the direction the games are going as its not satisfying to play anymore and basically requires me to have a mindset i dont like and eventually becomes a cycle of dissapointement ive been this way since usum and since i saw the first trailer for gen 8 i skipped lets go because of this and i will be skipping gen 8s mainline titles and the 2020 diamond and pearl remake because of this reason (also i have actually been dissapointed with the series direction since oras and sm but i was still delusional thinking that the games were gonna get better )
