Seriously, for all the work you need to do collect them, they're pretty fucking useless
Gigantamaxes that are outright worse than their Dynamax counterparts include

>Kingler
>Meltmetal
>Corviknight
>Toxtricity
>the Apples
>Centiskorch
>Duralodon
And the others aren't good enough to consider over using any of the good Dynamax pokemon either (some are only better because the 2nd effect of normal max move they replace doesn't help them, like Max Phantasm for Gengar). I'd happily write this off as another flavor-of-the-gen gimmick if it wasn't for the fact that some more cool pokemon could've gotten in without this waste of development time.
