If anyone here has cfw and you strip the gmax, you can essentially see when you'll get a shiny in the den, wont guaranteed be a gmax, but you'll get A shiny. So say if someone hosts a appletun, someone with cfw gets it they can tell the host how many resets they'd need for a shiny raid. Dont think it needs to be a gmax, but yeah. I dont know the full details but that's the gist. Didnt look to much into it because I don't feel like doing it but if anyone is, look into it

Yes, you just change the date back when you get your desired Pokemon. In fact, there's an option for it to get the correct time and date for you so it's one click away rather than manually setting the date again.

You join any random raid by choosing to swap cards with people first. That will automatically refresh the list of online activities. Then you filter the activities for raids only. You will usually need to leave the online menu and just walk around and watch the activity updates on the left side of the screen. Any time something changes, open the online menu again. You have to act fast because otherwise a raod will get taken and be unavailable.

When you see the raid you want, quickly spam A to cancel the card swap search, and enter the raid. If the raid has a small lock icon on it, that means you need a passcode to get in.

while those codes probably work, it's not what has been used with the charizard. It is pretty obvious that the pokemon that will be hosted in the raid is stored in the savegame (or else reloading the save would give you a new pokemon), so it is only a matter of figuring out how it is stores in there (it is stored as a seed, so a 64 bit number), and how that seed generates the pokemon. Then you can try other seeds and bruteforce a way to generate a perfect pokemon. It is only a matter of replacing the seed then.

well you have to see it like this, each den stores the seed(determines the stats,shinyness of the pokemon), a number that indicates the stars of the raid (0-4), a rng roll (determines what pokemon of the den pool is in there), a den type (normal or rare) and a flag byte (if the den is active, if watts can be collected and if it is a event den or not)

Those codes dont replace the seed, but they modify how the pokemon gets generated out of the seed. So if you were to take a pokemon caught in these raids and recalculate what seed has been used to get this pokemon you will see that it is illegal, as that seed wouldn't be able to generate a 6iv/shiny pokemon.

However if you replace the seed as a whole with a bruteforced seed that is shiny/6iv, there really is no way to tell if the game generated this seed for you or if you put it in yourself.

The code could be changed to make it square shiny too, square shiny is just a subform of normal shiny. But you are right, there is no save editing needed for the codes.

It sucks ass. Feels boring and the BP is so low . 95% of teams you face will just get swept by Zacian/Zamazenta. Grinding for PP ups is ass, you need 12 to max a pokemon which is 120 BP, or 60 battles.
