I reckon that XY having an entire cave where you find Larvitars each 5 steps was fucking horrendous but at least it was an endgame cave and you had to catch them anyways, Prism just gives it to you as a fucking gift. It's sickening

not that person but crystal clear is good. basically open world crystal with all pokemon available.
the oc shit in it is cringe but as long as you play sped up its a really good rom hack

theres not a single thing stopping you from going anywhere, and when you get fly you can fly anywhere without having to have been there. and the gyms levels scale to your number of gym badges
theres some QoL improvements too. its the only catch em all rom hack where i actually bothered to catch em all

Crystal Clear and Polished Crystal are both better, though that's not to say Prism was bad. The biggest issues I had with it was the pacing and map design

Way back when it first leaked. My first sve was one of many lost to the Phlox lab bug.

I don't remember much of my run, but I do remember this hack cementing Cradily as my bromon since it wrecked so much stuff, namely soloing the gas gym.

Current version is .94. Main story is 100% completed. There's plenty of content to play with already and patching the game with an update doesn't ruin the data, so you might as well just start.

Playing it right now. Just finished the 7th gym. I feel a little dumb to waste my last cage key to fight Hariyama instead of releasing the legendary. Hope to find more cage keys soon.

I remember playing this when I was in middle school, it was an early beta version back around 2008-2009 I think. It was much edgier back then (lots of characters cussed lol) and it only went to about the 2nd or 3rd gym I think. But it was really neat back then, and I'm amazed playing it again 10 years later with how much everything changed and expanded.

I don't really like how it forces you to build a team of 6 fast sweepers or else you get fucked. I had to discard some of my bros because they were fainting constantly. Other than that, it's good.
