Why not talk about re-typing AND stat/archetype overhauls, then? On the subject, I'd love to see Flygon retooled into a Bug/Dragon type, and maybe slap on some extra speed on it. Give it a speedster archetype and different typing to at least take it out of its pigeonhole as "Garchomp but Worse".

So do beedrill, volcarona, venomoth, heracross, kricketune, dustox, orbeetle, vikavolt, etc etc. Giving it bug/water would give it a niche and still fit the design, as it can use its wings like Surskit's legs to perch on water.
