I have disdain for fanfic metas and fanfic games.
Usually the ones with fakemon and/or edgy storylines.
As well as ones like crystal clear where its creators don't hide who they hate.

Understandable. Although I think ROMhacks that have a cookie cutter "you're a 10 year old collecting badges and catching whatever legendary gets summoned by the evil team that nobody seems to know how to stop even though they only use dark and poison types" is worse than any edgy storyline. At least you can laugh at Quartz or Snakewood's terrible fakemon and 8th grader's idea of a Pokemon game being made for an older audience. Gaia is just... Gen 4's tone with Gen 6's mechanics ported onto Gen 3's engine.
