I enjoy Bug-type Pokémon and the love they've gotten over the more recent games. I think their designs in general are some of the strongest designs in the franchise.

On the bright side, I still haven't bought either half of the game. Not even used! I think I might be able to hold out for the improved (but still incomplete) version, but I don't think I'll be buying one of those halves either!

Taking a step back and really looking at the world of pokemon as a whole, it gives off this comfortable, almost hopeful ethos that I just love. Even if Pokemon somehow dies tommorow, I'll always have some neat fan concepts and the like to look on and possibly interact with. Played some PMD tabletops, they were alright.

there are so many great bug-types! out of the newer ones, i love volcarona, dewpider, ribombee, and frosmoth. all cool designs, and volcarona and ribombee are super fun ingame
i have great memories of outstalling lusamine's milotic with ribombee using struggle bug/draining kiss/stun spore, it was my last mon and it was so satisfying

Pokemon is one of the few franchises I throughly enjoy, consistently. Sure I haven't watched the anime in a while, but I've been playing the games and I can honestly say I enjoyed all of them so far. Some were better than others, of course but i never had a breaking moment where I fell outta it. It's great feeling nostalgic but fresh at the same time.

Pokémon as a franchise attracts actual autists like grape soda attracts niggers. The collecting aspect in particular is incredibly alluring to the OCD/Asperger’s crowd. As a result, many of the diehard fans of the series that post here have legitimate mental illnesses, hence the constant discord, falseflagging, anger and entitlement.
