A game made by japs for japs, but then again, all Pokemons have japanese details more or less and things inspired by animes they grew up on. "James Bond" Inteleon runs just like Lupin the III and generally has the posture of a smooth japanese anime thief and Rillaboom has his japanese bits too.
It's actualy a fun part of Pokemon, to see those things that you can kind of trace back to the childhood of the developers, even when the region is France or Britain or Hawaii, there is always that japanese backbone peeking.
