The only reason I miss the GTS is that it not existing makes it harder to do a living dex, due to not having the other legendary plus a second Type Null so I can still have him after evolving one to Silvally. Never really cared about it not being there otherwise.

They got rid of it because saves work differently in the Switch. DS and 3DS had one save per cart and console (for digital copies). However in the switch, multiple people can have loads of saves from the same game. If GTS worked on it, people could essentially trade with themselves. So they just replaced it with the retarded code system.
