2nd Mewtwo was made after stealing Fuji's initial plans. Kind of the same way that the Type:Null design was stolen by Macro Cosmos from Aether in the games.

Not exactly, TPC didn't want to have to work with Shudo's estate, which would have happened had they used the original Mewtwo. They made a new one, with a female personality to get around this.
