Even if GF was to do a complete 180 and start pushing out amazing games with tons of effort and soul put into them, I don't think I'll ever be able to have the same experience I did when I first started playing Pokemon. The sense of adventure. That feeling of a massive new world with awesome creatures for me to explore. Mysteries and rare pokemon that I was so excited to finally find. Real challenges. All of these things I will never be able to experience again. I simply know too much. I know all the typings, the weaknesses, the strategies, the moves. It's just not fun.
I'm reminded of the /v/ anon who pointed out that "You will never be able to play Fallout New Vegas for the first time ever again".
