Would anyone be interested in a Orre region FRLG hack? Not sure if it would be a Colosseum/XD de-make or a sequel/spin-off, but it would obviously include all the main mechancis: double battles, snagging, Mt. Battle. With larger areas and dungeons and actual routes between the areas

That sounds like you'd have to do some significant changes to the base mechanics of a FRLG rom. By default, catching a pokemon ends the battle even if the opponent has more Pokemon left.

There's no good reason to use a FRLG ROM over an Emerald ROM, because Emerald had significantly more features and assets (including FRLG music and FRLG location names built in).
