Can anyone explain the hate for Gen 7?
I always hear people saying that SM and USUM are terrible garbage games, usually saying that X and Y were better.
This makes absolutely no sense to me, X and Y were okay games, but they were ugly and had terrible stories, characters, Pokemon and introduced the gimmick problem. SM had a lot of great Pokemon, mixed up the story in a fun way, and was loaded with great characters, plus Z moves weren't very intrusive.
I still think Pokemon peaked at Gen 5, but Gen 7 is easily the best of the 3D iterations.
