The first stage looks a little too similar to digitamamon but the last stage is kino. Basilisk Pokémon would almost be enough to get my shekels.

In any case, the fakemon itself is cool and alt forms that only change the color of details have been made before (arceus, silvally, vivillon, alcremie), but in my opinion the ghost/fire form looks just like a shiny of the ghost/ground form. I'd do something a bit more visible for the fire form if it were up to me.

Here is my regional mammal line. Dynamaus is based off of mice, bombs, and the Kodama nezumi. Explodent is also based off of mice, but is reminiscent of Mouser from SMB2/DDP.

Wish I was talented enough to use Photoshop or my InkPad. I bought them thinking I'd be able to go to town making art, but it's just so much easier for me to draw shit with pencil on a piece of paper. I also get intimidated by all the people who go balls to the wall coloring their shit in sugi style, labeling it with fancy titles, and the whole nine yards. I pretty much just doodle a sketch and then jot down all my ideas into a spreadsheet. I've got a fucking million of them. What a waste of my time and my autism.

Scardy Cat is just a great, solid design.
Dr. Bee is a bit too busy I feel, too much clutter
The Lance line is really cool, though the final form looks a bit much for a Pokémon design, it's a really cool design but it doesn't really match up with Pokémon's general aesthetic imo
Yarn Cat is cute, no changes needed.
First form of creepy creature is really cool, second form feels a little too on the nose with its design.

Alright so explain this whole "Waifu" thing to me. When I think Waifu Pokemon, I think pokemon that are both feminine in appearance and in terms of Pokedex entry has stereotypical anime girl traits. If it's just feminine I don't think it constitutes as a Waifu Pokemon.

Sorry I didn’t reply sooner I just forgot. I started with a crocodilian tail and scutes for the body since the drug’s nicknamed “krocodil”. I was dinda iffy on the head, but went with viper inspirations because the drug is something you inject. The holes in the mouth are suppose to reference the holes desmorphine melts into your skin. I’ve gotten constructive criticism for it though, and I wanna try corroding/putting holes in the scutes to make the shapes match up. I admittedly didn’t know what I wanted to do with the body.

There’s also a smidge of Komodo dragon in there That comes out with its dex entries:

I mean smash is one thing, its an amalgamation of a bunch of different properties that are all doing something separate from their original titles
but I dont think its nintendo as much as game freak wanting to keep things "pure" but I would like to see more crossovers where they put pokemon into different key gaming styles like with pokemon conquest

A part of me wishes that people could submit pokemon designs to GF like the kids in Japan did for Capcom when it came to the classic Megaman series. You don't get payed for it and lose all rights to it, but having your name in the game (and possibly getting the game your mon debut in for free) would be fun to see.

In my opinion, Tsareena is the only real Pokemon that could be considered a waifumon, maybe Gardevoir. If you compare her to Lurantis, Bellossom, Roserade, Leavanny, Lilligant, Whimsicott... it seems clear that her design is primarily intended to appeal to a fetish rather than just having feminine features.
It's mainly a term for Fakemon like Assdeer which commit the same offense but way more obviously. Hence why >>43800414 is right.

Either the toad or the snake, they're both pretty good. The slug appears to be wearing clothing, which throws me off. Could use a more natural color scheme, too. Right now it looks like a slug in a onesie.

It's a bit funny, because when I was first creating those guys, I had set out to specifically avoid "It Just Gets Bigger" disease that used to plague these kinds of threads. But they get that comment a lot, so maybe it succeeded too well.
Even though they're quite a bit different from each other, they're based on a gauntlet > helmet > fully armored cavalry, so I think they're conceptually tied together at least.
